Submission Writing and Accreditation

Funding Submissions

Tourism Naturally have an extensive knowledge of government funding programs and the requirements of developing successful grant funding submissions. To enhance their understanding of government funding processes, Liz Cayzer and Neil McGilp spend time with the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry as a Principal Regional Development Officer (Indigenous and Tourism Business Development).

Successful funding applications have been developed including:

  • Australian Tourism Development Program ($100,000)
  • Indigenous Business Development Grant Scheme ($35,000)
  • Commercialising Emerging Technologies Program (COMET) ($80,000)
  • Gambling Benefit Fund. ($30,000)

Business Management

Tourism Naturally’s principals have been operating their own successful tourism businesses since 1980. In addition, they have also provided management services to a range of other tourism businesses throughout Australia. They have had direct management involvement in tourism businesses ranging across the spectrum of the industry from a major tourist attraction to 4wd tours and from a backpackers hostel to luxury resort.

Business mentoring

Tourism Naturally’s principals, Neil McGilp and Liz Cayzer, have both been engaged by Balkanu Cape York Business Development as business development managers. They provided business mentoring services to indigenous businesses in North Queensland. In 2008 Tourism Naturally was appointed as Business Advisory Service Providers to Indigenous Business Australia and continues to provide a complete range of mentoring services to a number of indigenous businesses.
