Tourism Naturally is a pioneer of Indigenous tourism business development. As founders and operators of Kimberley Wilderness Adventures (KWA), it first developed a partnership with Indigenous guides in the Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park in 1995. In 2000, it formed a Joint Venture with the Wunan Foundation that established a network of Safari camps on traditional lands and the Kimberley’s largest and most successful 4WD tour operation, winning four Western Australian tourism awards and numerous business awards.

They now use their extensive experience to assist in the development of tourism product that leverages the natural, cultural and heritage values of an area. They work with Traditional owners, tourism businesses and all stakeholders to create new product that has been planned to succeed and will be a fit to the target market.

Tourism Naturally has had a direct involvement in a broad spectrum of tourism operations from safari camps and 4WD tours to luxury resorts, including:​

Liz Cayzer

Neil McGilp is one of the pioneers of adventure and nature-based tourism in Australia. Neil progressed from operating canoe and rafting tours in the early 1980’s to outback coach and 4WD tours in Central and Northern Australia. Liz Cayzer brought organisational skills and attention to detail into the business operations. In 1990 Neil and Liz established Kimberley Wilderness Adventures and built it up to be WA’s most successful tour operator, winning numerous business and tourism awards.

After selling their remaining interest in KWA to Traditional owners, Neil and Liz managed tour operations, Safari Lodges, tourist attractions and facilities and managed destination marketing organisations in Queensland and Western Australia. Neil gained an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management and they both gained further experience in the government and NGO sectors to establish Tourism Naturally Consulting. Working on numerous tourism consulting projects with state and local governments and providing business development and mentoring assistance, Neil and Liz provide business assistance to assist existing businesses and new product development.
