In 2007 Tourism Naturally were awarded a 5 year contract from the Wildlife Conservancy of Tropical Queensland to manage, market and develop new product for the Mareeba Wetlands Reserve. Immediately identified the opportunity to develop an all-inclusive accommodation and tour product that was a great fit to the International European and US Markets. In addition to providing an outback experience for this target ‘Experience Seeker’ market, TN identified the opportunity to develop specialist tour product for the birding market.

Developing an all-inclusive experience that incorporated accommodation and meals, cruises, walks, African-style wildlife safaris and specialist birding tours, TN expanded the marketing reach to be featured by over 30 international wholesalers, 20 internet booking sites and domestic wholesaler programs.

The success of the product development and delivery was recognised by a Tourism Tropical North Queensland award in 2011
