Outback At Isa Tourist Centre. Mt Isa. Queensland
Tourism Naturally principals have had extensive experience in Tourism facility Management. In addition to managing the facility and its 20 staff, TN also developed a new Strategic Plan and introduced new product for the complex including Dinner under Isa, combining an underground mining tour with a unique dining experience in the crib room, Bush poetry evenings in the Outback Park Amphitheatre and utilising the underground facilities for Mining Induction training.
Mount Isa’s Outback at Isa complex included:
- Underground mine tours
- Riversleigh Fossil Centre and research laboratory
- Isa Experience Museum and Gallery
- Outback Park Desert Gardens
- Visitor Information Centre
- Bus centre
- Gift Shop, and
- Café.
TN’s successful management and innovation at the facility was recognised by 3 Outback Queensland Tourism awards.
